Located in the heart of middle Tennessee, the Putnam County School System (PCSS) is the 13th largest public school district in Tennessee with 22 schools, including a virtual learning school, VITAL, and an adult high school, serving over 12,000 students. The school system is the second-largest employer in Putnam County, with over 1,700 staff members.
